So Sweet...

Yesterday I was trying to get food ready to bring to the potluck at church, and I wanted James to stay awake so he would sleep during church...Well, he was a little fussy, so Hubby held him for me:

Our New Bedroom Arrangements

We got rid of our bed frame (it was just a metal frame that I was always catching my shins on...ouch!), and put our bed in the corner and then moved Sweet Pea's crib in from the other room, and we are sending the cradle back to Taylor's family, for use next time :D Oh, and Hubby spoiled us by buying a luxuriously soft, quality sheet set! Can't wait to crawl into them tonight!

Happy Birthday to sis JoJo (2 days late...)

What a sweet little girl! I can't believe she is 3!! Wow, where does time go? I remember when she was born, Mom and I had gone on a nice leisurely walk the night before, and she told me that she felt like "it" was going to happen soon...Then she woke me up at about 2:00 in the morning, I had just enough time to get all the supplies out, and by 3:00 am, there was little Joanna Faith! I caught her, and sis Hannah was able to watch!



She is such a bright little girl, we used to call her Penny occasionally, because of that. Her nickname that has stuck is JoJo. Funny story about her, the other day my Dad was addressing a problem with one of the kids that had come up at the table, and Joanna pipes up and says "I'm not getting involved"... :D lol...

Isaac and his wife Christen came from PA, and they stopped in to see us. Somehow I didn't get a pic of Christen, just Isaac, oops...

Happy Birthday, Susanna!!

My little sister Susanna turned 11 today! Wow, where does time go? I can remember her birth like it was yesterday... Mom went into labor, and Dad was gone (we had no way to get a hold of him), the midwife wasn't going to make it (she was a couple hours away), and Mom started preparing me (in between contractions) at 9 years old about what was going to happen, and what I needed to do... I had prayed that I would be able to be at the birth, Mom wasn't sure if I was ready or not, but now I wasn't only going to be able to be there, but also help!!! A friend that was a nurse came over at the very end, and I was able to help catch the baby :D I was thrilled!! Then a few minutes later, Dad walked in and to his surprise there was a new baby girl!



She is a sweet, smiley girl that loves to cook, I made the apron for her birthday that she is wearing in the above pic.
