Thanksgiving!!

Wow, we have SO much to be thankful for:

  1. Jesus

  2. Each other, and a WONDERFUL marriage

  3. James, he brings us sooo much joy

  4. Our families on both sides

  5. Taylor's job

  6. A nice place to live

  7. Our wonderful friends

And I could go On and ON!!!!!

We celebrated a wonderful Thanksgiving with Taylor's family. I sure missed my family :( I am thankful to have  family close, though!! This time we stayed with MB (Mama Bear), and she just loved spending so much time with James. It was nice because a couple of the mornings that we were there, when James woke up, Taylor would bring him out and MB, Dari and Taylor would watch him for me!! I was able to sleep in, and it was so nice! It was just a very relaxing trip!

Now, on to the pics!!

[caption id="attachment_1170" align="alignnone" width="519" caption="Homer Eugene Pakis-the cockapoo who is so sweet and velvety soft!"][/caption]

A little story about Homer- He was VERY protective of James, if you were holding him and James fussed, or if we were doing something that Homer didn't approve of like throwing James up in the air, he would put his front paws up on you and try to get to the baby. And when James was in the walker, Homer was right there by him, and sometimes James would pull Homer's "beard" and Homer would kind of yelp, but he never hurt James, he would just lick his hand! He is such a sweet dog...

Fun at Mt. Nebo!

Friday thru Sunday morning we spent at Mt. Nebo with Taylor's Dad, Tina, Darian and Tyler. It was SO much fun and SO relaxing!! The cabin we all stayed in was right on the edge of the mountain. It was amazing sitting in our room feeding the baby, looking out the window and seeing for MILES!! We played horseshoes and out of I think 5 games, Taylor and I won 4 :)

James' new bed

We didn't have any kind of bed for James when we stay places, so Papa Marc and GrandTeen (Tina) sent us his Cmas m0ney early to get him one :)

Thanks Papa Marc and GrandTeen :D

Tea Party

This is our yearly fall tradition now, since it started last year

[caption id="attachment_1127" align="alignnone" width="389" caption="Tea and lemon poppyseed muffins"][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1128" align="alignnone" width="519" caption="My handsome tea partner :D"][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1129" align="alignnone" width="519" caption="Our tea party :) It was candlelight, but the flash made it look bright.."][/caption]

What we do at our tea party is we have what we call "visionary chats" and talk about our hopes and dreams for our family, etc.. It is refreshing and exciting just to talk it all out!

Afterwards Hubby suggested we do it more often, like every month because he enjoys it so much :D I think I will take him up on that!!
