Starting to take shape!

Nana and Pa came up yesterday and brought Taylor's crib and changing table. Pa set up the crib, and then we went out shopping for a new crib mattress and changing table pad.  We had a great time, and we are so excited to see the nursery taking shape, especially with Taylor's old furniture...how special!!

28 Weeks = Third Trimester!!!!!!

Yea!! I am in my third trimester now, only 12 weeks to go, unless little Mr. decides to come a few weeks early, which would be just fine with us!! We are getting even more impatient and excited now.... This week the crib will be getting here (thanks Nana and Pa) and then I can get more things ready for the baby... As of now, there isn't much to do except sit around and think about it!! We can't wait for our little blessing to be in our arms...

Bible Thoughts

I have been reading through 1 and 2 Samuel. One chapter that stuck out to me in particular was 2Sam 11. It was about David and Bathsheba. It was amazing how David kept trying to cover up one lie with another, till he eventually had Uriah killed. It also stuck out to me how committed Uriah was to David, how he wouldn't go home, but stayed faithful to the cause, which eventually caused his death...

May we always stay faithful, and always tell the truth, and be willing to confess our sin...

Beautiful weather!

I am sure enjoying this 70 degree, sunny day! It gave me a chance to get out and take my walk. I have walked 3 days in a row now, and hope to keep it up as long as it isn't rainy!

I also wanted to share a picture that Taylor's mom took in Hot Springs over Lake Hamilton, it was actually on the news!

27 weeks!!

Cleaning Fun

Have you ever seen such cute cleaning gloves? I got these in my stocking at Christmas, and I love them...they are supposed to make cleaning fun...and they do!!

New Year

Wow, a fresh new year! I hope everyone else is enjoying the start of 2010 as much as I am.

New Years Eve, Hubby and I had a bunch of snacks, watched a movie and played a few games of Farkle (very fun!!). Then we retired to the bedroom and I fought to stay awake till midnight...just barely made it! It was so fun to be with Hubby at the very start of the new year.

Yesterday (New years day) Hubby didn't have to work, so we had a pretty relaxing day, except for grocery shopping...

Today we slept in till almost 9:00 (VERY rare for us) and had a relaxing morning, then went to Baby's R us to look at a stroller and carseats...fun, fun! Then we made good use of one of our Christmas presents, an Outback gift card, and we had a lovely lunch together...then tonight is the birth class at the midwife's.... We are so enjoying this relaxing long weekend!

Enjoy each day, time flies by SO quickly....just ten short years ago, I was a 9 year old, wondering how on earth I was going to wait  so many years till I was 18 (that seemed really OLD then), as I assumed I would get married when I was 18 and was really anxious to! I remember thinking to myself that I would just live each day the best I could, and that time would probably go faster then I thought...Wow, it sure did!!

Praise the Lord for a new year to serve him, and we are also looking forward to our little blessing, who's due date is coming faster then I thought it would!!

HIS mercies are new every morning, and they seem especially new as we begin this new year!
